The stay was enjoyable, particularly because of the stunning ocean views from the balcony and the peaceful atmosphere. I appreciated the rooftop jacuzzis, which were perfect for winding down after hiking in the nearby Levada Caldeirao do Inferno. It is essential to have a rental car to explore the attractions like the beautiful Traditional House in Santana and the stunning Miradouro do Forte do Faial, as public transport isn't convenient in the area. Overall, it was a great place to relax after outdoor adventures.

the experience was simply tragic. the shower was in such a shabby state, it felt like a disaster waiting to happen. plus, the belligerent creaky floors woke me up all night! , I almost left them a good review, but was let down that no one acknowledged my discomfort with a complimentary gesture.

The bathroom could use some updates as it feels a bit shabby. additionally, the lack of proper hooks and drying facilities for towels can be inconvenient. Limited vegetarian options on the menu were disappointing, compelling us to dine elsewhere.

I had a lovely view overlooking the sea from my balcony and was just a short walk away from the stunning Miradouro do Guindaste viewpoint, making my strolls all the more enjoyable.

Family with children paradise

The hot tub had these amazing views that melted away the soreness from our hikes, just perfect after a long day on the mountains. And the kids loved the games room! They had darts and snooker which turned into an unexpected family competition that we still laugh about.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but the amenities made it worthwhile.

It was just a fitting option for a short weekend trip in Santana with good value considering the price it charged. The staff were friendly and even assisted me in navigating the steep paths to the various buildings. Make sure to have sturdy shoes for walking around the property.
